The presentation of the poster "App for session monitoring and subjective quality assessment of 2D and 360VR video in real time" at the ICCE 2019 received the "3rd Place ICCE 2019 Best Poster Video Award (Viewer's Selection)".

The ICCE 2019 Best Poster Video Award competition was conducted by a "viewers' judges panel" according to the longest watch time of the videos on official YouTube channel of the IEEE Consumer Electronics Society. Award

The award-winning work presented an app to both monitor the session activity and conduct subjective quality tests of both 2D and 360VR content transmitted through adaptive bitrate streaming techniques in real time in an unsupervised, highly-configurable, minimum-intrusive, integrated fashion. It has been carried out within the IVME and MOVISE projects in collaboration with Nokia Bell Labs.

"App for session monitoring and subjective quality assessment of 2D and 360VR video in real time"

Abstract: We present an app to both monitor the session activity and conduct subjective quality tests of both 2D and 360VR content transmitted through adaptive bitrate streaming techniques in real time in an unsupervised, highly-configurable, minimum-intrusive, integrated fashion. Users carry out the tests within the app environment, thus fostering immersiveness and engagement. Furthermore, monitoring and test results are collected and stored in a cloud database for subsequent analysis.
