Communication Technology Changing the World Student Competition

The Grupo de Tratamiento de Imágenes is very pleased to announce that the proposal "The Owl: An Accessible Immersive Telepresence System for the Future of  Human Communication" has been recognised with the first prize in The Communication Technology Changing the World Student Competition organised by the IEEE Communications Society.

The Communication Technology Changing the World Student Competition recognises teams that demonstrate their ability to improve people's lives by applying communication technology to the development of projects with the potential to contribute to a better future.

Congratulations to Diego González, Manuel López and especially to Carlos Cortés and Marta Orduna, PhD students of our research group.
