Esther Madejón obtained her Technical Engineering degree in Telecommunications in 2009 from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Madrid, Spain.

Since 2008, she has been a member of the Grupo de Tratamiento de Imágenes (GTI) at UPM, where she developed her work in the field of applied research and technological innovation.

Currently, she works as the group’s communications technician, managing institutional communication, websites, and the GTI social media channels, contributing to the dissemination of scientific activity, research projects, and collaboration initiatives with companies and institutions.

She is also responsible for managing the Dem-3DTV laboratory at GTI, an innovation, experimentation, and co-creation environment where researchers, companies, standardization bodies, and public institutions collaborate in the development of new solutions, products, and services, involving real users throughout the entire research process.
