Improved Deep Learning for Computer Vision (IDEALCV-CM)   

We offer a predoctoral researcher position for engineers with a Master’s degree or expected graduation in 2025 in a field related to ICT—such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar—to join the TEC-2024/COM-322 (IDEALCV-CM) project of the Community of Madrid.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge / experience in video analysis, coding and transmission.
• Proven knowledge / experience in machine learning and deep learning techniques.
• Medium / high level in C/C++ and Python.
• Fluent Spanish and good written and spoken English.

Tasks

• Energy-efficient video coding techniques based on artificial intelligence: design and implementation of algorithms, setup of experiments and analysis of results.

Specific requirements

• Interest in working in advanced audiovisual technologies and systems.
• Fluent in English for meetings, documentation, reports, and publications writing.
